Museum Abteiberg is home to one of the world’s leading collections of post-1960 art, alongside a smaller collection of Expressionism and the historical avant-garde.
Displayed across approximately 3,500 square meters, the collection is presented in changing installations, creating new dialogues with exhibitions of international contemporary art and Hans Hollein’s celebrated museum architecture. The sculpture garden features works from the past fifty years, some created specifically for the site.
The installation views below offer a glimpse of current and past presentations of the collection at Museum Abteiberg.*
*Please note: Because Museum Abteiberg regularly reconfigures its collection displays and frequently loans works to international exhibitions, some of the works shown here may not be on view during your visit.
